Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 16, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of slate-agency.com and the services provided by Slate (“Slate”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using our website, or by engaging Slate for services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

2. Who we are and what we do

Slate is an AI-visibility agency. We help brands earn citations and recommendations across AI platforms through organic AI visibility, paid AI media, AI agents, and custom AI solutions. The specific scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees for any engagement are set out in a separate written proposal or services agreement between you and Slate.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use our services. If you are using the site or engaging us on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorised to bind that company to these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

When using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its systems, or networks;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the site;
  • Copy, scrape, or harvest content or data except as expressly permitted; or
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation.

5. Intellectual property

The website and its content — including text, graphics, logos, and design — are owned by Slate or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission. Ownership of deliverables produced during a client engagement is governed by the applicable services agreement.

6. Engagements and fees

Any services we provide are governed by a separate written agreement that sets out the scope, fees, payment terms, and duration. Where those terms conflict with these Terms, the services agreement takes precedence for that engagement. Fees are due as described in the applicable agreement or invoice.

7. Nature of AI-visibility services

AI platforms are operated by independent third parties and change frequently. While we apply proven methods and share what we learn, we do not control how any AI platform ranks, cites, or recommends brands. We therefore do not guarantee specific rankings, citations, visibility levels, traffic, or business outcomes. Any examples, benchmarks, or projections are illustrative and not a promise of results.

8. Third-party services

Our site and services may reference or integrate with third-party platforms and tools. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of those third parties, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

9. Disclaimers

The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slate will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the website. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Slate harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the website or your breach of these Terms.

12. Confidentiality

Each party may receive confidential information from the other during an engagement. Both parties agree to keep such information confidential and to use it only for the purposes of the engagement, as further described in the applicable services agreement.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Slate is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless a separate services agreement specifies otherwise.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the website after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
